What if, one day, you discovered a genie in a bottle, willing to grant you three wishes? Would one of your wishes be for magically straight teeth? Many people long for the benefit of a straight smile without having to deal with metal braces.

What if we told you that we have a way to straighten your teeth without braces? There is no need to go searching for a magic genie—our practice offers the next best thing: Invisalign.

The Invisible Alternative: Invisalign

Here’s the deal: Traditional braces are obvious. But, unfortunately, they’re not the most attractive thing in the world, and they can be pretty uncomfortable too. That’s why invisible orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign is perfect for people who want a more discreet experience.

At Orthodontics Limited, Invisalign is our “magic way” to straighten your teeth without bulky metal braces. Instead, we use a series of clear trays that one of our doctors will custom design for your unique mouth. The best thing about this process is that you can take them out to brush and floss, not to mention that they’re nearly invisible when you are wearing them!

It’s basically invisible braces that can be removed at night and during meals. You’ll have the same comfort and convenience as conventional braces but with a much more aesthetic result.

How Invisalign Works

Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners custom-made specifically for your teeth, mouth, and bite. These aligners are comfortable to wear and can be taken out while eating and brushing your teeth.

There are no wires or brackets involved, so they should not interfere with eating or talking like other orthodontic treatments. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and then replaced with the next one in the series. This process continues until your teeth have moved into their new positions.

Invisalign is made of a thermoplastic material that has been engineered to be very comfortable to wear. In addition, the aligners are designed to move your teeth as you progress through the treatment, so we can’t remove them until your final aligner has been placed.

What to Expect From the Process

The process begins with an examination by either Dr. Pale or Dr. Middleberg to determine if Invisalign is right for you and your teeth. Then, we take an image of your mouth using special software. Using this image, we create an individualized treatment plan just for you.

We then manufacture custom-made aligners specifically designed to move your teeth into their ideal position using our computer-generated treatment plan. Finally, each time we see you at our office, we will make adjustments based on how well (or not so well) things are progressing.

Finally, once all of your teeth have moved into place, we will remove the last aligner and move on to polishing and finishing your teeth in the same perfect shape you imagined when you first walked into our Philadelphia facility.

Invisalign vs. Traditional Braces?

When you think of orthodontics, it’s easy to assume that traditional braces are the only option. However, with Invisalign, you can get the same straight teeth without the metal.

Traditional metal braces are made up of brackets and wires attached to your teeth to move them into proper alignment. These metal pieces are visible to the naked eye and can be uncomfortable or irritating to wear.

Invisalign is made from a series of removable plastic trays that fit over your teeth and gradually shift them into place during the treatment process. The trays start with a set of base trays, which fill out the contours of your mouth so that each successive tray fits comfortably on top of the last one (like Russian nesting dolls).

Invisalign is more than just a cosmetic solution, however. It can help correct malocclusions, overbites and underbites, gaps between teeth, open bites, and crossbites. We can also use it to treat TMJ disorders like jaw misalignment or TMJ pain caused by grinding or clenching teeth during sleep.

Is Invisalign Right for You?

Invisalign is an excellent choice for people who want to straighten their teeth without any noticeable hardware. It’s also ideal for those who want an alternative to traditional braces but don’t have enough room in their budget for them.

If you’re interested in getting rid of crooked teeth but don’t want to deal with traditional metal braces, it’s crucial to determine if Invisalign is right for you first. What are the Benefits of Invisalign?

They’re virtually invisible, which makes them ideal for anyone who wants to correct their smile without having to wear traditional metal braces. The results look just like traditional braces but without the hassle or unnatural appearance.

Invisalign also offers many benefits over traditional metal braces. For instance, since the aligners are removable, you can take them out and clean them as needed. You can also eat whatever you want while wearing Invisalign — no more worrying about foods that could damage your braces.

How Do I Get Started?

At Orthodontics Limited, we’ve helped many patients get started down the path toward straighter teeth with Invisalign treatment plans.

The first step in the process is to schedule a consultation. We will review your medical history, dental X-rays, and an orthodontic evaluation at your consultation. Next, we’ll determine what treatment you need and how long it will take to get you there.

We’ll ask some questions about your goals, lifestyle, and budget so we can recommend the best treatment plan for you. Once we’ve determined whether Invisalign is right for you, we’ll put together a treatment plan based on how many months of treatment will be required to achieve your desired results.A More Convenient, Less Inva
