Meet Our Doctors

 

Dr. Gemmi, completed his orthodontic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, in Philadelphia. During his tenure at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Dr. Gemmi received multiple awards including the Benjamin Lebby Award for Outstanding General Practice Resident and the Schatz Award for Outstanding Member of the entire House Staff. He also gave lectures to various groups, and was awarded first place three years in a row for his table clinic presentations at the Philadelphia County Dental Society Meetings. Currently, Dr. Gemmi is a member of the orthodontic teaching staff at Albert Einstein Medical Center, and is frequently asked to lecture to various dental groups.

 

Prior to his residencies, Dr. Gemmi graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received the Hinman Scholarship for Outstanding Dental Student, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon is one of the highest academic achievements a dental student can attain. Dr. Gemmi received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Villanova University, and his high school diploma from LaSalle College High School.

 

On a personal note, Dr. Gemmi enjoys spending time with his family, golf, photography, and computers. He resides in Montgomery County with his wife, Maria, children, Caitlin, Kiera, Carly, and Chase, and dog Happy. Most recently, Dr. Gemmi has been trained in the use of lingual braces (braces behind your teeth), which provides an almost invisible method to straighten your front teeth. Along with keeping up with the latest technologies, Dr. Gemmi enjoys sharing his passion for great dental health through his multimedia presentations which he presents to local schools and groups.

 

Dr. Gemmi is the Past President of the Eastern Dental Society, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the Philadelphia County Dental Society, The American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontics, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

 

Dr. Middleberg completed his orthodontic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his last year. Dr. Middleberg received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry and his Bachelor of Science Degree from LaSalle University. He has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Orthodontics, the Philadelphia Dental Assistants Association, and at Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is currently a faculty member.

 

Dr. Middleberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Board Certification is a voluntary process that provides an extensive review of the orthodontist's clinical expertise. Certification by the Board is a unique achievement, of which only a few thousand orthodontists worldwide have attained.

 

Most recently, Dr. Middleberg is the Immediate Past President of the Greater Philadlephia Society of Orthodontists, and elected to the Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Honor Society. Dr. Middleberg has also been requested to consult for various dental insurance companies, and has also served as president for his dental fraternity, Alpha Omega. Dr. Middleberg has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President of the Eastern Dental Society. Dr. Middleberg is a governor of the Philadelpia County Dental Society.

 

Dr. Middleberg has been in practice since 1986 and is very active in Pennsylvania organized dentistry. Dr. Middleberg was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and currently resides with his wife and three children in Bucks County. Dr. Middleberg enjoys computers, skiing, biking, and many outdoor activities
