1. We are Educators
We are all on staff and teach at Albert Einstein Medical Center, sharing our knowledge by educating future orthodontists.
Dr. Gemmi visits many of the schools in the area, giving assemblies on the importance of good oral and dental health.
Dr. Gemmi is the current President, and Dr. Middleberg is a member of the board of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists. We help to educate orthodontists in the tri-state region by bringing to the area some of the best speakers in the world to discuss the latest advancements in orthodontic care.
2. We Are Board Certified by the ABO
American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Board Certification is a voluntary credential that represents an orthodontist’s personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice and lifelong learning.
A Board Certified Orthodontist has reached a distinct level of achievement that goes beyond state required licensure, includes additional education and ongoing assessment, and indicates that an orthodontic specialist is upholding the standards of the credential.
All three of our doctors are board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists. This is a designation only held by about 40% of all orthodontists practicing in the United States.
Drs. Pale, Gemmi, and Middleberg are fully committed to their patients, and the Board Certification process is a great means for self-evaluation and affirmation of the excellent care they provide.
3. We Are Invisalign Diamond Plus Orthodontists
Invisalign Diamond Plus orthodontists see at minimum 280 Invisalign patients annually. Drs. Pale, Gemmi, and Middleberg are true Invisalign experts in practice and the ONLY orthodontist to carry the Diamond+ designation in Philadelphia.
We are in the top 1% of all dentists and orthodontists in the world in the use of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, and one of only three practices in Pennsylvania to receive this special distinction. Drs. Pale, Gemmi, and Middleberg attend on-going Invisalign continuing education events, and have been asked to lecture to various groups about the Invisalign system, regionally and nationally.
