Meet Dr. Harold Middleberg
“Even after 25 years of orthodontic practice, my profession is still new and exciting for me. Orthodontics is always changing with evolving technologies, and I enjoy being able to provide advanced treatments for my patients. Each person who comes to visit us has their own expectations and goals, and it is our job not to just fulfill them, but to surpass them.”
Dr. Middleberg was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, and has been practicing orthodontics since 1986. He graduated from LaSalle University, as well as Temple University School of Dentistry. He completed his orthodontic training at Einstein Medical Center, where he is currently on the teaching staff. Dr. Middleberg is very involved with organized dentistry, currently serving as a Governor of the Philadelphia County Dental Society, and on the Board of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Middleberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Being a “Diplomate” means that Dr. Middleberg completed a voluntary, rigorous certification process that only a small percentage of orthodontists worldwide achieve.
Dr. Middleberg has served as president for his dental fraternity, Alpha Omega. He has also served as Secretary,Treasurer, and President of the Eastern Dental Society. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Fun facts about Dr. Middleberg:
- He and his wife Sherri have been married for over 25 years!
- He has three children, Geoff, Justin, Jordyn, and a puppy named “Chloe.”
- He really enjoys tinkering with electronics, especially computers and the latest gadgets.
- He restored an old Wurlitzer Juke Box to working condition.
- His favorite activities are skiing in the winter, and biking in the summer.
